Yli-Ii
Yli-II has pedigree - Stone Age settlers lived there over 5000 years ago.
The area markets itself as a beautiful, safe country district with good
services and a supportive atmosphere, close to the big city. Kierikki, the
Stone Age center, is unsurprisingly the biggest draw for visitors. The local
river and the rambling routes come a not-so-close second, but are arguably
just as fun.
