Haukipudas
Haukipudas, 20km north of Oulu, houses 15,000 residents, the majority
of whom work in industry and services. The Kiiminki river can be fished,
sailed, and hiked in Winter, and Viripiniemi, with one of the best sport
centres in the Oulu region, is a great venue for summer and winter events.
